over the loss of contact with Taher Rakan Taher

He is a medical staff member of the Kurdish Red Crescent,

performing his humanitarian duty

while traveling from Raqqa to Hasakah

on January 18, 2026,

at 2:00 PM.

Information received indicates that

civilian convoys and medical personnel have been targeted

by armed groups, including armed groups affiliated with the Syrian Interim Government.

We hold the responsible authorities, including the Syrian government,

fully accountable for his safety,

and demand the immediate disclosure of his whereabouts

and his unconditional release.
